Hi, I’m Lené 👋

👩‍💻 I’m a data professional currently working as a data analyst in the Fintech industry. I’ve been working in data since 2021, and in tech since 2017. Before that, I worked in higher education with a focus on STEM.

⛰ I live just outside Cape Town and when not communing with machines you’ll find me on a hiking path somewhere, doing some type of craft, or in the ocean.

🎓 I’ve recently wrapped up a BSc in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning and Data Science. I also have a Masters in Linguistics.

🛠 I’m interested in applying software engineering principles to the data world, finding the answers to hard questions, and mentoring junior data people.
